Aim: To make the student familiar with the basic principles of mechanics including waves and enable the student to solve simple physical and technical problems.
Contents: Kinematics. Newtons laws. Work and energy. Impuls. Laws of conservation. Fictive forces. Motion of rigid bodies. Oscillations. Gravity. The wave equation. Examples on waves, including soundwaves.
