| Aim: To acquaint the students with practical design in a field of civil engineering by letting them create their own design and critically evaluate possible solutions. |
| Contents: The course consists of a project which can be more or less interdisciplinary. For example the problem can involve a building project or an environmental project. Some alternative draft programs are prepared by the students and one of these programs is chosen and further prepared in a proper detailed project. On special occasions field or laboratory investigations can form part of the project. |
| Remarks: The work is conducted in groups of 2 students. |
