| Aim: The course trains the student in combining several unit operations into more complex processes in order to satisfy specific needs. |
Contents: Lecturing:Mass and energy balance, flow sheeting, instrumentation (no control theory), P&I diagrams, risks, economics of projects and operations. Exam project to be presented, evaluated by the 13- scale. Pilot lab experiments with six unit operations. Each student to report two experiments. One report to be presented and evaluated by the 13-scale. |
