| Aim: The course trains the student in combining several unit operations into more complex processes in order to satisfy specific needs. All by using the design tools used in industry. |
| Contents: Specific tools used in process design: mass and energy balance, flow sheeting, instrumentation (no control theory), P&I diagramming, risc analysis, economics of projects and plant operations. The course will focus on existing cases. |
