Aim: a) To give the students a workable knowledge of bacterial physiology on high level. b) Training in reading of scientific papers. c) Training oral presentation. |
| Contents: Synthesis and regulation of macromolecules (DNA, RNA and proteins) in bacteria (including regulatory networks, global regulation, two component regulators, sigma factors, anti-sigma factors, antisense RNA mRNA stability), and bacterial growth (cell cycle). |
