| Aim: This course will provide the student with a comprehensive knowledge of the practices employed in the recovery of industrially important biomolecules (e.g. organic acids, amino acids, antibiotics, peptide hormones, enzymes, therapeutic proteins, antibodies, vaccines) typically produced by fermentative (upstream) processes. |
