Aim:  To be able to use multivariate statistics and classification techniques in the evaluation of biological, chemical and biotechnological data (soft modelling, data controlled modelling, chemometrics).
Contents:  Lectures, demonstrations and PC based work on data in the following areas: experimental design, hierarchical clustering, minimum spanning trees, principal component analysis, partial least square analysis, correspondence analysis, metric and non-metric multidimensional scaling, classification and identification methods. Use of plots in evaluation of data.
