Aim:  Give the students knowledge about the nature, design and analyses of buildings and constructions with respect to fire safety.
Contents:  - Fire regulations
- Fire testing and classification.
- Basic Fire Dynamics
- Fire properties of building materials
- Active and passive fire safety engineering
- Fire safety and risk assessment of various building categories
- Calculations of the load bearing capacity of constructions and assemblies of wood, steel and concrete
- Examples of good practise
