Aim:  The course shall give the students an understanding of the following: 1. Methods for development and optimization of sustainable buildings by use of thermal insulation, heat recovery, solar heating. The development includes indoor climate, energy, building technology, durability and economy. The optimization is based on the total economy of buildings with regard to energy and environment in relation to the financial conditions comprising the entire life time of buildings.
