Aim: To give the students a basic knowledge of the planning of installations in buildings, primarily water & outlet, heat and ventilation (heating and sanitary installations) including taking a stand on system principles and routings. Here importance is especially attached to the correlation between the installations and the building, both with regard to their mode of operation and to the building-in and accessibility. |
Contents: The correlation between the installations and architecture, statics, thermal envelope, noise, etc. The phases of the design process. The components of the systems. Selection of system. Routings. Shaft solutions. Accessibility (maintenance, renewal). Design of pipelines. Fire safety. It will be possible to take up other relevant topics if requested by the students. The course will be a mixture of theory and teamwork. |
