| Aim: To give the student a set of mathematical concepts which will enable him to understand and handle the typical models of differential equations encountered in civil engineering. This includes the numerical treatment. |
| Contents: Mathematical models. Differential equations of first and second order. Systems of partial differential equations. Numerical methods. Fourier series. Analytical methods. Line integral and surface integral. Gauss' theorem. Examples. |
