Aim:  The students will obtain knowledge and experience with design of user interfaces and functionality in multimedia applications, appliances, devices and systems. The design process is central, and the students will get an insight into different design methods and techniques within this field. They will learn how to use them in respect to the focus of design.
Contents:  Fundamental theories in Human-Computer Interaction. Different theories regarding the design proces and design methods will be studied. Multimedia, different modalities and senses will be gone through with a primary focus on visual perception. During the course the students will get hands on experience with the design process through working with a concrete multimedia interaction design.
