Aim: Make the students familiar with the most used methods in the determination of rock and ore forming minerals. |
Contents: The most important rock and ore forming minerals will be demonstrated. Basic mineralogical properties (colour, hardness etc.), introductory optical microscopy and x-ray diffraction methods will be treated. |
