Aim: To solve a signal processing problem related to current research topics. |
Contents: The course starts with lectures on current research subjects, e.g., prediction of time signals, neural networks, hidden Markov models, Bayesian signal detection, parametric spectral estimation, vector quantization, speech coding, noise reduction in speech signals, adaptive filters. The participants carry out projects within the research subjects presented. |
Remarks: This course and 02457 are advanced courses in digital signal processing. Basic courses are 02451 and 02453. The first lecture is announced at the department and in the course home page. |
