Aim: Many students will later on in their professional work be involved in solving technical tasks within the frames of a project. The purpose is to achieve a professional task handling based on cross organization work. Based in this the course is designed to learn the students to: - to explain to which tasks the project oriented work form are suitable and how it can be applied. - to plan and organize a project and to contribute to a project in a satisfactory way - to set out important interactions between project group, project manager, project steering group and other stakeholders. |
Contents: The project oriented work method compared to tradition task solving. Organizing of a project. Analysis of stakeholders. Project planning. Development of work-break-down-structure, design of overall project plan. Planning and control of work in project organization. Project economy. Project control. Project manager's and project team's function and roles. International aspects in project work. |
Remarks: The course includes ordinary lessons about selected topics and a course project named: Project manager year 200X. |
