Prerequisites:  Som knowledge is required about design and / or development of technological systems (products, information systems, parts of production systems etc.) and technological problem solving as well.

Participant limitation:  Max. 100
Aim:  Many students will later on in their professional work be involved in solving technical tasks within the frames of a project. The purpose is to achieve a professional task handling based on cross organization work. Based in this the course is designed to learn the students to:
- to explain to which tasks the project oriented work form are suitable and how it can be applied.
- to plan and organize a project and to contribute to a project in a satisfactory way
- to set out important interactions between project group, project manager, project steering group and other stakeholders.
Contents:  The project oriented work method compared to tradition task solving. Organizing of a project. Analysis of stakeholders. Project planning. Development of work-break-down-structure, design of overall project plan. Planning and control of work in project organization. Project economy. Project control. Project manager's and project team's function and roles. International aspects in project work.
Remarks:  The course includes ordinary lessons about selected topics and a course project named: Project manager year 200X.
