Aim:  The course aims at giving the students an understanding of planning, implementation and control of the environmental activities in a company during product development, production and distribution. Apart from knowledge of structural elements in industrial environmental management, the course will aim at giving the students knowledge and skills enabling them to develop and implement management systems and here also to be able to integrate these with the company's other activities.
Contents:  The concept of sustainable production and the forces behind. A company's management systems. Strategic management and formulation of environmental startegies. Design and implementation of environmental management systems. Requirement specifications systems. Certification and audit of environmental management systems. Green marketing - products, prices, labelling, communication.
