Aim: By means of demonstrations and practical exercises with conventinal process equipment to familiarise the students in the basic principles and terminology of production termininology. By operating conventional process plant under workshop conditions, to prepare the students for their practical training in industry, so that they may derive the most benefit from it. |
Contents: Vice work, turning, milling, grinding, checking dimensions, moulding and pattern-making, melting and material tesing, model planning. Welding. Plastics technology. Shaping thin sheets. Demonstrations of CNC turning and milling. Laser cutting. |
