Aim:  After the course the student should understand the computer techniques used in the integration of production systems. The course covers both administrative systems and production control. After the course the student should understand the computer techniques used in the applications of the Internet. The course covers both XML and Microsoft .NET technology.
Contents:  Reading of structured methods to functional analysis and program development. The structure of database systems with emphasis on relational database systems. Structured Query Language (SQL) for querying a database. The database software ORACLE and MSAccess are used for demonstration and compulsory practical exercises. Reading of communication principles, with emphasis on the OSI standard, TCP / IP and Internet. Reading of methods to use Internet for communication of data and exchange of methods. The first part of the course gives a thorough introduction to the XML standard. The second part uses the Microsoft software, .NET, C#, to program tasks for the Internet.
