Aim:  To provide knowledge of the basic chemical principles and give proficiency in their use in chemical problems.
Contents:  Nuclear chemistry. Atomic theory. The periodic table. Periodic properties. Chemical bonding. Molecular geometry. Energy changes during chemical processes. Electrochemistry. States of matter. Reaction kinetics.
Remarks:  Core Science Elements in chemistry. For students outside the chemistry preliminary courses with an A-level in chemistry.
