| Aim: To provide knowledge of inorganic chemical processes in aqueous solutions and in the gas phase. To practise calculations of systems in chemical equilibrium. |
| Contents: Law of mass action, gas phase equilibria, ionic equilibria in aqueous solutions, solubility equilibria, acid-base equilibria, pH calculations, buffer systems, complex equilibria, acid-base titrations, thermochemistry, electrochemistry. |
| Remarks: The course is given as a supplement to course 26001 for students with a B and C level in chemistry. |
