| Aim: To introduce basic elements of general, inorganic and organic chemistry. |
| Contents: Important classes of compounds in inorganic and organic chemistry (including nomenclature). Types of reaction and chemical equilibria (e.g. redox reactions and acid-base equilibria). Atoms, the periodic table and chemical bonding. |
