Aim:  To learn to apply thermodynamic principles to systems with one or many components, including electrolytic solutions and systems with galvanic cells.
Contents:  Real gases. Polytrope processes. Partial molar quantities, esp. partial molar enthalpy. Helmholtz function. Multiple equilibria. Mathematical relations between different standard states. Partially miscible liquids. Solid-liquid phase diagrams. Salt hydrates. Experimental determination of activity equilibrium constants. Sulfuric acid's standarization. Colligative properties of non ideal-dilute solutions. Conductivity. Equilibrium. electrochemistry.
