Aim: Application of thermodynamic calculations to industrial processes, with particular emphasis on high pressure flow systems and phase equilibria. This includes application and construction of thermodynamic diagrams and tables. Generalized methods, equations of state, activity models and other thermodynamic models. |
Contents: Calculation of the PVT-properties and phase diagrams of pure species and mixtures. This includes cubic equations of state and generalized methods for determination of fugacity coefficients and other residual properties. Compressors, turbines, vapor compression cycles and liquefaction plants. Multicomponent phase equilibria involving polar and nonpolar substances. |
