Aim:  The aim of the course is to give the students a knowledge about: 1) Sources of air pollutants and dispersion in the atmosphere, 2) air pollution measurements and environmental legislation, 3) air pollution control and design of control measures
Contents:  Emission sources, Gaussian dispersion and comprehensive dispersion models, emission and air quality measurements, air pollution legislation, clean technology, physical and chemical methods of abatement for dust, gases and odours, design of air pollution control equipment in the chemical industry and in power production.
