Aim: The aim of the course is to give the students a knowledge of important methods of air pollution control and measurement. |
Contents: 1) Air pollution dispersion modelling with a comprehensive multi-emission-source model. 2) Measurement of emissions from an industrial size plant. 3) Adsorption and desorption of organic vapours using activated carbon. 4) Thermal oxidation with regenerative heat exchange. 5) Flue gas desulphurization with limestone using a wet scrubber. |
