| Aim: To teach the student to plan and perform a limited original research or development project, the result of which can be applied in practice. |
| Contents: Definition of the problem. Collection, sorting and critical evaluation of relevant litterature. Planning and performing of laboratory ecperiments and calculations. Evaluation, discussion, and conclusion on the results in relation to working hypothesis based on litterature. Presentation of the project as a written report and orally at the end of the semester. |
| Remarks: The course is taken as an individual course, or in small groups. The teacher is consulted on a regular basis |
