Aim: To teach the student to analyse complex mechanical systems and mechanisms using computer simulation codes developed during the course. |
Contents: During the lectures the theory behind a computer code for kinematic and dynamic analysis of mechanical systems is presented. At the exercises a code is developed in either C or FORTRAN, which can perform both kinematic and dynamic analysis of mechanical systems, including the simulation as well as graphical display of results as animations and curves. The final project will include further additions to the code developed during the semester. |
