Aim: To provide the student with a basis of control technology and economy, and to analyse, evaluate and plan automation and process development including automation of production processes and plants. |
Contents: Control technology, open and closed loop control systems, central and sequential control, Boolean algebra, pneumatic and electronic components, control systems (Programmable Logic Controllers, PLC), CNC machine tools, industrial robots, automatic assembly, FAS, FMC, FMS and also CIM relations. Group technology, automatic method planning and forecasting, examples of conventional processes and their relations to conventional processes. Laboratory work: PLC programming, pneumatic simulation on computer, simple control systems. |
