Aim: The aim of the course is to enable the students to:
- use methods for analysis on transmission components, dimension end select among the components
- understand the responsibility of the engineer concerning safety about designing of machinery |
Contents: Analysis and dimensioning of classic transmission components such as belt-drives, cluthes, brakes, gear-wheels and gears.
Information about the dimensioning of chains, infinitely variable gears and friction gears |
