Danish title: Dynamiske systemer og regulering
Language:  Danish    ECTS-creditpoints:  5, External examination.
Type:  open university
Class schedule:   F5
Recommended semester:  6th or 7th semester
Evaluation:  Written exam
Examination:  13-scale
Previous course:  94220
Prerequisites:  94415
No credit points with:  94220
Aim:  To make the students capable of setting up linear mathematical models for the dynamics of physical systems, comprising mechanical, electrical, fluid and thermal elements, for the dimensioning of feedback control systems using these elements.
Contents:  The dynamic behavior of physical systems described by mathematival models. Setup of differential equations for the system, and linearization of nonlinear mation. Block diagram description of mathematical models. Calculation of the systems transient behaviour and Bode plots. Simulation of dynamic systems using digital computers. Theory for the stability of linear feedback systems. Nyquist's criterion of stability. Dimensioning of control parameters to establish a wanted relative stability, using Bode plots or root-locus-plots. Examples of controllers and their application in combination with mechanical, electrical, fluid and thermal systems.
