Aim: The student shall by analyzing the original literature achieve detailed knowledge of the parameters of the indoor climate and their effect on man's comfort, health and work. The student will be able to calculate, analyze and evaluate climate in practice. |
Contents: Thermal indoor climate, conditions for comfort, instationary conditions, draught, modelling and measuring of perceived air quality. Identification of pollution sources and ventilation rates. The effect on human beings of ventilation efficiency and air flow patterns in rooms. Bioeffluents, tobacco smoke, combustion products, outgassing from building materials, air humidity, microorganisms, randon, ions and electrical fields. Measuring methods and instruments. Strategy for performing indoor climate investigations in practice |
