Aim:  Industrial practice: To give familiarise the students with relations and cooperation at a place of work, with methods, machines and systems under practical conditions, and to enable them to solve engineering problems in an opreating concern. Preparation and follow-up: To prepare the stydents theoretically, socially and pedagogically to their industrial practice and to enable them subsequently to evaluate their experiences and observations.
Contents:  Industrial practice: Employment in production, operation, development etc. Theoretical engineering in operatin, production or planning offices etc. and in design departmnets. Eventually partly manual work in connection with manufacture andassembly, maintenance workm woek in development and inspection etc.
Preparations and follow-up: Briefing on union agreements, working conditions, the shop steward system, working enviroments, engineering qualifications, future trends in industry, the engineer's situation.
