Aim:  The aims of the course is to give the student knowledge about signals transmission through linear systems and knowledge about analog and digital signalprocessing (Fourier series, Laplace- ,Fourier-, and Z-transformation), fundamentals of datacommunications and modulations techniques.
Contents:  Continuous-time and discrete-time signals. Fourier series. Laplace-, Fourier- og Z-transforms.
Matlab.
Introduction to datacommunications.
Digital and analog modulation schemes.
Noise in electronics systems.
