Aim: The objective of the Industrial Training is to give the student a realistic insight in the engineering world - both from the technical and the human point of view, and to give the student the possibility of using the theory learned at the university in practical engineering. |
Contents: Practical work in a company or organisation, where the student will be occupied with relevant engineering work. |
Remarks: Students are encouraged to find a relevant company for their industrial training.
Ørsted-DTU may help students to find an appropriate company for the industrial training.
Before a student makes a final agreement with a company concerning industrial training, the agreement should be approved by Ørsted-DTU.
Students who want to get their industrial training in another country can get advice on this by Ørsted-DTU. However, the department is not able to offer industrial training in companies in other countries. |
