Aim: To enable the students to apply methods and tools within computer and information technology in order to specify, design, use and maintain control and supervision systems in connection with robot and automations systems. |
Contents: Introduction to C and Unix, program and system development tools, software quality control, introduction to industrial system hardware, real time and concurrent operating systems & programming. Introduction to network-based systems, model-based methods for software and systemware design and real-life industrial automation systems (PLC- og robot architectures). The exercise part consists of 4 introductory exercises and a project solved in teams. |
