Aim: To give the student an insight into the construction and application of autonomous robotic systems. In addition, to give an insight into and experience with the construction and testing of hardware and software in computer based systems. |
Contents: A number of introductory exercises, lectures covering autonomous robotic systems and a larger assignment. Major autonomous robotic system components: software, computer systems and communication, modeling and kinematics, dynamic control, sensors and actuators. AU's mobile mini-robots are used in the final assignment. |
Remarks: The course is struktured so student with different backgrounds are able to benefit. |
