Aim: To enable the participants to analyze and design analog RF and microwave circuits using waveguides, transmission lines, active and passive components as well as hybrid and mponolithic integrated circuits. |
Contents: Transmission line theory, analysis and synthesis of transmission lines and wa veguides. Circuit theory for waveguiding systems. Impedance trandformation and matching. Passive RF and microwave components. Resonators and filters. Active microwave circuits, noise, design of microwave transistor amplifieres and oscillators. |
