Aim:  The aim of the course is to make the student able to use general methods for analysing antennas, to design antennas and antenna arrays with respect to gain, input impedance, bandwidth, and to measure the fundamental parameters of antennas.
Contents:  - Maxwell's equations and auxiliary potential functions.
- Linear wire antennas and loop antennas.
- Aperture antennas, especially microstrip and parabolic antennas.
- Arrays: Linear, planar, and circular.
- Design of antennas for specific purposes.
- Antenna measurements.
Remarks:  This course qualify to be a part of the bachelor of science specialisation in Wireless Communication.
