Aim: After satisfactory accomplishment the student should be able to develop electronic equipment with low unwanted electromagnetic emission and good immunity towards electromagnetic disturbances. |
Contents: EMC Phenomena and Basic Definitions. Interference Coupling Mechanisms. Filtering. Shielding. Printed Circuit Board Design. Mechanical Design. System Design. Principles for Grounding, Coupling and Installation. EMC Test Procedures. The EMC Directive. Standards. Trouble Shooting. Mitigation in the Field. |
Remarks: This course can in the bachelor's programme be included in a specialisation in Wireless Communication. |
