Aim:  to enable the students to construct reliable digital systems, taking into consideration the dynamic aspects of the digital circuits and the conditions under which the systems are to operate.
Contents:  The course examine theories and methods for attainment of reliable design in digital systems. Topics are for instance high frequency stabilization of power distribution, dynamic properties of CMOS / TTL / ECL, transmission line theory for digital application, optimizing transmitter properties with microstrip load, differential sender / receiver, balanced / unbalanced transmission, signal damping in transmission lines, EMC in digital equipment, cooling condition, company visiting and refer to start innovative knowledge based company. Further are there problem exercises and 3 laboratory exercises in relation to the pensum.
