Aim:  To enable participants to design and construct reliable and very fast digital systems.
Contents:  High speed measurement techniques, emitter coupled logic, other high speed logic series, GaAs technology, calculation by means of conformal mapping of differential / common impedances of coupled microstrips, design of print layout with intentional passive components in high speed design. The course also contains 2 laboratory exercises illustrating the different applied techniques. Development project within a current field of research at the institute. Company visiting.
