Remarks:  Prerequisites:
Basic knowledge of digital design: Number representation. Combinational and sequential circuits. Karnaugh maps. State graphs. Boolean algebra. Knowledge of basic components: register, ALU, memory (RAM), programmable logic (FPGA), busses, etc.. Implementation of small circuits (simulation and/or physical implementation). Computation of operating speed (circuit delays, setup time, hold time and critical path). Basic programming skills (C, C++, etc.). Elementary knowledge of assembly language programming and processor organization.
