26510 Nanostructured Materials for Heterogeneous Catalysis

Scope and form:  Lectures, work in groups, laboratory exercises, and reports. The course is concluded with a project work, where the students will work independently within one of the subjects from the course. This project is concluded with handing in a report.
Evaluation:  Oral presentation and approval of reports
Examination:  13-scale
Prerequisites:  K- eller TF fagpakke
Preferred prerequisites:  28241, 10300, or 26230
Remarks:  The course is a preferred prerequisite for further studies and/or exam project withing our new catalysis center, ICAT (Interdisciplinary Research Center for Catalysis, http://www.icat.dtu.dk). The course is given as a collaboration between the Chemistry Institute (KI), the Institute for Chemical Engineering (KT), and the Institute for Physics (FYS).
