| Scope and form: 2 hours classroom lectures and 2 hours tutorials pr. week. Weekly practical examples to be solved in groups. 4 laboratory exercises in physics |

After 4 hours written examination after each term. Internal examination after the 1. Term. External examination after 2. and 3. Term. |

Remarks: The course is a three-semester course for students taking the bachelor degree in Arctic Engineering. The course is taking place in Sisimiut in Greenland.
The course is approved if the total of the three marks is at least 18. |
