Aim: To enable the student to:
-carry out a sectional area-curve.
-carry out a lines drawing based upon the sectional area-curve.
-carry out fundamental hydrostastic calculations.
- carry out an intact loading-condition calculation. |
Contents: -fundamentals of hydrostatic principles.
-equilibrium, trim and stability of the ship.
-loading conditions for the ship, including longitudinal shearing
force and bending moment calculation. |
