Aim: The student must be able to:
Evaluate different production principles (¿in-time-¿ and ¿workshop-principle¿)
Describe tolerance systems used when assembling huge ship sections.
Practise control mesurements of ship sections with optical mesure instruments.
Produce production diagrams for construction and outfitting of ship sections. |
Contents: Production principles in ship construction.
Tolerances with origin in technical processes versus tolerances determined by function.
Capability stipulation when producing ship sections. |
