Aim: To train the ability to utilise theoretical considerations when practical solutions are to be created. To confront the participants with the need for technical compromise. To motivate the participants to distinguish between what is important and what is not, in a specific technical context. |
Contents: Construction of a two-way loudspeaker. Determination of primary parameters for loudspeaker units. Selection of loudspeaker units. Determination of the geometrical shape of the loudspeaker cabinet. Selection of material for a loudspeaker cabinet. Design of cross-over network in theory and in practice. Performing measurements on the finished loudspeaker. |
