| Aim: To give the participants an insight in the response of offshore structures to loading, and to demonstrate how the theoretical basis is used in codes. |
| Contents: Typical offshore structures and the corresponding basis of design, loads, particularly from waves, stochastic response analysis. Interaction between the structures and a pile foundation. Stability and strength of tubular joints, fatigue problems, Danish and foreign codes. |
