| Aim: To train the student to independently plan, carry out and present theoretical work, possibly with experimental verification. |
| Contents: Analysis and design exercises within broadband communication, chosen after consultation with the tutors, thus ensuring that the exercises are in context with current projects at the institute. The projects will normally include one or more of the following topics: Optical communication, optical networks, broadband electronics, broadband communication. |
