| Aim: To enable the student to design refrigeration systems for food storage, air conditioning, process refrigeration and heat pumps. |
| Contents: Refrigeration cycles: Vapour compression and absorption cycles. Equipment: Compressors, codensers, evaporators, cooling towers, freezers, etc. Basic design criteria. Load calculation. Automatic control of refrigeration systems. Design material: Diagrams, drawings. |
